Infor WMS cloud solution will help the Slovakian 3PL provider to improve
speed and accuracy for its clients
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia – 15 December 2023 – Interactive Logistic Solutions s.r.o. (ILS), an IT consulting company, headquartered in Bratislava, announces that Quality & Logistic Industrial Services, s.r.o. (Q & L), a third-party logistics (3PL) provider headquartered in Bratislava, has launched a successful project of the Infor WMS cloud solution to improve performance of stock operations. The new WMS provides additional benefits in speed and accuracy for Q&L’s clients that includes auto parts and electronics distributors.
With the previous system, Q&L ended up in a vendor-lock situation with long lead times. At the same time, they urgently needed more flexibility to respond to today’s volatile and unpredictable markets. The Infor cloud solution provides access to a complete, functional system without investing in hardware.
After running a pilot with Infor WMS for several months, the Infor WMS was deployed for Q&L’s warehouse in Trnava. Infor WMS covers all processes from receiving and putaway to picking, loading, and shipping. All settings were made in the cloud version of the WMS without enhancements. Only due to Extensible Business Rules within Infor WMS. The scope of the project also included narrow-aisle racks.
As part of the project, Interactive Logistic Solutions specialists provided several technical and functional trainings, including setting up Loftware — a suite of software applications for designing and printing barcode labels. As a result, the Customer’s team is now fully able to operate and configure the WMS independently. “We are confident that after finalizing of the project, the Customer’s specialists will be able to maintain and develop the System in their warehouses independently and without any problems. ILS wishes the Q&L team successful business development and thanks for support during the project implementation”, – says Mr. Roman Ustinov, head of European Operations of Interactive Logistic Solutions.
